I’ve only stayed in 2 Kimpton properties so far, but both times I’ve been impressed by how differentiated they are – the Kimpton brand is known for branding each of their properties as unique experiences. When it comes to the Hotel Monaco in Salt Lake City, it’s safe to say you get a similar feeling of boldness. There’s just something about it that feels cool and different from the rest of the places you can Google in the area.
I was honestly a little skeptical at first when I found out I’d be heading to Park City for 4 days with a bunch of people, all of whom could ski or snowboard, while I myself would probably be doing mankind a better service by keeping my feet firmly planted on the ground instead of up on the slopes. But after 4 jam-packed days in Park City, I could NOT have had a better time.
Utah. When you think of it, you probably immediately think of sprawling red rock formations, mountain biking, snow, and ski resorts. But without a car, and with no mountain biking/snowboarding/skiing experience, I wasn’t here to do any of that. So, what’s the draw of going to Utah when you’re not going for the snow? A lot, actually.
