Some of my top lessons from 5+ years of workationing the world! 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽

• Choose a time zone that enhances – NOT works against – your productivity

• Always have a plan B for WiFi (a backup coffee shop, a coworking space, a portable hotspot)

• Start small. A local workation, or even a day or two before going on vacation, are a great way to test the waters.

• Don’t make it weird. Your location may have changed, but the way you show up for your job doesn’t have to.

• Make the most of your time! Instead of doomscrolling or watching TV after work, go explore your new location. Try a new hobby. Experience sunset on the beach. Do things you wouldn’t normally ever get to do when you’re home in your comfort zone.

A love letter to all of our becoming. Here’s to

A love letter to all of our becoming. Here’s to women’s stories, including and especially my own 🤍

At 5, I wanted to be a pizza maker (my mom will never let me forget this)

At 7, a veterinarian.

At 13, a dancer (and I was)

At 17, a model (and I was) or broadway actress.

At 19, I wanted to work for the UN.

At 21, I wanted to work in fashion (and I did) and one day be the editor in chief of a magazine.

At 25, I wanted to work in travel (so I did).

And at 30, I decided that one day, I’d like to open my own boutique hotel.

My head is always in the clouds and even though my path has been a bit all over the place, one thing that has stayed the same is that I am a woman who dreams. I love imagining new realities for myself, and seeing which ones stick. My story is not linear but I’d say it’s a damn good book unfolding so far 👏🏽

Reflecting on how this week, exactly one year ago,

Reflecting on how this week, exactly one year ago, I traveled to Kenya for the first time and hardly posted a single thing about it 😅 It wasn’t on purpose, but the second I returned life swept me right back into ‘normalcy’ and in the blink of an eye, another year passed.

I’m grateful for my camera roll and i will never regret being the one who captures a moment in time. And as I sit in an unfamiliar airport in another new country writing this caption I’m excited to find this version of myself again. The one who is curious and carefree and open to it all.
